Meet Jen

Founder + Revenue Cycle Strategist + Optical Industry Veteran

Jen is a revenue cycle strategist, optical industry veteran, and founder of EyeQ Insights, where she partners with independent practices to elevate their operations with clarity, precision, and heart. With more than two decades of experience spanning the lab, the optical floor, and high-level revenue cycle leadership, she brings a full-spectrum understanding of how successful practices operate from the inside out.

She holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and is a Certified Paraoptometric Coder (CPOC) through the American Optometric Association — a combination that blends advanced strategic leadership with nationally recognized technical expertise in coding, compliance, and documentation.

Her consulting style is both analytical and deeply human. She simplifies systems, strengthens compliance, and teaches clinicians the business side of care in a way that’s accessible, honest, and empowering. Jen’s work is grounded in real-world experience and shaped by her commitment to building workflows that feel intuitive, sustainable, and aligned with each team’s natural strengths.

Beyond her work in healthcare, Jen is a creative at her core — a writer, artist, and photographer who finds beauty in detail and meaning in everyday stories. This balance of strategy and creativity shapes her voice, her leadership, and the thoughtful experience she brings to every client she serves.

Strategy with heart.

Systems with clarity.

Guidance that feels human.

Why EyeQ Insights Exists

To bring transparency to billing.

To remove fear from compliance.

To replace overwhelm with structure.

To help practices grow with integrity, confidence, and calm.

How I Work

Jen’s approach is rooted in clarity and respect. She takes time to understand a practice’s natural rhythm, communication style, and team dynamic before recommending any changes. Systems are built around the strengths already in the room — never imposed from the outside.

Nothing feels chaotic. Nothing feels forced. Instead, teams feel ownership, confidence, and genuine alignment with the processes they help shape.
